Deer Park grad restores Leno Prestini's classic truck

Although it has been nearly 60 years since locally famous artist Leno Prestini died, a piece of him—other than his paintings— continues on to this day.

Jack Hill, who graduated from Deer Park High School in 2016, has revived and restored Prestini’s old pickup truck.

Prestini was born in Italy in 1906, but spent most of his life in Clayton. His father worked for the Washington Brick And Lime Co., where he and his brother would later also work. at is where he began working with terra co a, before taking up oil painting in the mid-1930s.
