Eagles cruise to win over Lady Stags

The Lakeside Eagles opened Friday’s game on a 16-2 run and never looked back in easily handling the Deer Park Lady Stags 52-18.
Lakeside, 11-1 in Northeast A League play and 14-4 overall, left no doubt about the outcome when the Eagles opened the second half with a 12-0 run.
The Lady Stags (3-9, 6-11), who had trouble generating any sort of outside shooting attack, was paced by six points apiece from Jo Jo Bunch and Payge Rose.
Sienna Swannack led all scorers with 15 points while Kendra Gay chipped in with 12 more.
Deer Park finishes the road portion of its regular season with a trip to Freeman at 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
