Thirteen proved to be a lucky number for the Deer Park boys basketball team last night.
The Stags rolled to their school record 13th straight win with a 63-10 win over the short-handed Springdale Chargers in a non-league match-up.
Leading 29-8 at halftime, the Stags held the Chargers to a single field goal in the second half to run their overall record to 13-0. The Chargers, who only suited up six players because of injury, fell to 4-9.
Junior Gobi Geller led the Stags with 12 points. Isaac Berglund, who hit a pair of 3-pointers in the first half, finished with eight points.
Kalinik Martushoff led the Chargers with five points.
