Craft Fairs for Christmas Shopping

Ashley Wilson

‘Tis the season for craft fairs! There are multiple chances for locals to get their craft fix this Christmas season.

The Old Creamery Event Center is happy to be hosting their 3rd annual community craft fair. “All of our vendors are local crafters.” explains one of the event planners, Robin Kern. “There are no businesses involved. This fair is all about community and bringing crafters together.” There will be a wide array of homemade goods to choose from. Plenty of crafty items like candles, jewelry, and woodwork will be available, but there will also be edible items like bread, jam, and cocoa bombs. Kids are encouraged to bring their letters to the North Pole so they can send them in the letter drop box. Santa will also be available for pictures!
The community craft fair will be December 3-4, from 9 AM-4 PM, and admission is free. It will be at The Old Creamery Event Center: 18 N Park Ave. Deer Park, WA 99006.

The annual craft fair that is sponsored by the Deer Park Senior’s All Nighter will also be occurring this weekend. Attendees can enjoy multiple vendors, pulled pork sandwiches from the concession stand, and pictures with Santa. They can also enter to win raffle baskets and a big raffle for a $500 visa card! This is a good opportunity to support the Senior All Nighter and buy some locally sourced gifts! It takes place on December 4 from 10 AM to 5 PM at 247 E A St, Deer Park, WA 99006. Admission fee is $1 at the door and free for kids 12 and under.

On December 10 and 11, from 10 AM to 3 PM, there will be the Elk Community Craft Fair. Over 18 local vendor tables will be available to shop from. They will also be serving free cocoa, cider and treats for attendees to enjoy while they shop! This fair will be located at 5110 E Elk to Hwy Rd, Elk, WA 99009.
