Lakeside's double-barreled attack sinks Lady Stags

The Lakeside Eagles used the timely hitting of Olivia Charbonneau and the strong right arm of pitcher Shelby Claassen to easily dispatched the Deer Park Lady Stags 12-4 yesterday.
The win improved Lakeside’s Northeast A League to 3-1 and 6-2 overall. Deer Park fell to 3-1, 6-3.
Charbonneau banged out four hits, including a solo home run in the fifth inning. Her blast was followed by another solo shot by Claasen.
The Lakeside hurler also did plenty of damage on the mound. The senior struck out 14 Lady Stags in registering the complete game win.
A bright spot for the Lady Stags was sophomore Jaylee Lane, who rapped out four hits, including a pair of doubles.
