Sheriff Department seaching for Chattaroy robbery suspect

Spokane County Sheriff’s Office Major Crimes detectives continue to search for a white male suspect who robbed a Chattaroy gas station at knifepoint on Feb. 17.
According to the Sheriff’s Department, the suspect entered the Chattaroy Quick Stop-Conoco, N28312 Newport Hwy., at around 8:50 p.m. and demanded money from the clerk while holding a knife in his hand.
After he grabbed the money, the suspect ran out of the business and fled north in the “gun metal” colored SUV believed to be a four-door Ford Escape.
The suspect is approximately 6-foot-1, weight about 190 pounds, with dark brown/black hair. He was wearing a black jacket, with two visible light-colored seams/stripes on the hood, blue jeans, and dark gloves.
