According to the Spokane County Sheriff’s Department, a citizen report saw a suspicious vehicle parked in the area of his neighbor’s home located in the 10700 block of east Big Meadows Road near Wild Rose Road at approximately 12:30 p.m. He found the vehicle, unoccupied and decided to check on his neighbor’s residence, which was out of view.
As he approached the residence, he observed two suspects running from inside the home. The witness said he went back toward the suspects’ vehicle and observed the suspects running from the woods toward the vehicle. He fired a shotgun into the air and told the suspects to stop. The suspects turned and fled back into the woods.
